Wantagh Station 08-02-2018
With the rehabilitation of the east end of the station completed, work on the west end is well underway. Modern station amenities include new LED platform lighting, improved customer information with JBL speakers for improved sound, four digital screens installed in the waiting room, and wifi access. Conveniences will include USB charging ports, 10 new platform benches, and bird-deterrent spikes installed on the station’s beams. Two new photographs donated by the Wantagh Preservation Society will be installed in the waiting room.
