The replacement of the platform at Wantagh Station and the enhancement of the station are almost complete. Canopy work, escalator testing, and platform lighting and wiring have been completed, and AVPS signs, speakers and cameras have been installed. The installation of signage is complete. Automated Snow and Ice Melt System (ASIMS) work continues, with Phase Two of the project set to begin October 1, 2018.
The renovation of the west end of the platform, which began in February 2018, is complete, and the platform is now open. Phase 2 construction is substantially complete, with some punch list items remaining.
