The Springfield Boulevard Bridge, built in 1922, is located on the Main Line in Queens Village. This bridge is affiliated with the raised Queens Village Station, which is served by the Hempstead Branch. The $8 million project involves the rehabilitation of bridge elements that present moderate corrosion and cracks and the replacement of existing concrete platforms, light poles, conduits, concrete and passenger platform. The Springfield Boulevard Bridge Rehabilitation Project is anticipated to be completed in 2019.
