Deer Park Station is on the Ronkonkoma Branch, where it serves approximately 6,200 customers each weekday. By the end of 2018 the completed improvements to this station will include platform renewal, Wi-Fi, USB charging stations, digital information totems and interior and exterior building renovations. The area surrounding the station is being rehabilitated with sidewalk and curb improvements, new bike racks and public art. With the completion of the Double Track Project, the upgraded Deer Park Station is a crucial contributor to the ability of LIRR to accommodate future increases in ridership.
