Construction is underway at Northport Station. The station interior is scheduled to be renovated and to offer new amenities to LIRR customers, including an electronic information totem, LCD display screens, MTA Arts & Design permanent artwork, new benches, wayfinding signage and Wi-Fi. A temporary bus stop has been relocated, and striping is underway, as is the removal of existing electrical conduit and cables. The installation of a construction barricade for customer safety is complete.
