Preparatory work for the Covert Avenue Grade Crossing Elimination in New Hyde Park is currently progressing. Utilities along Covert Avenue are being relocated, and a number of small trees are being removed to accommodate the grade crossing elimination efforts. The property at 124 Covert Avenue has been demolished.
