Since the approval of the third track project last year, MTA officials have wasted no time in rolling out plans across the 9.8-mile stretch from Floral Park to Hicksville.
The Village parking area along the former Creedmoor Spur’s Right-of-Way in Floral Park will be repaved and restriped to serve additional LIRR commuters. This section of parking is currently operated by the Village of Floral Park through a lease between the Village and LIRR.
