Project Overview

The Meadowbrook Parkway Bridge is owned by the New York State Department of Transportation in the Town of North Hempstead along the LIRR Main Line. As part of the LIRR Expansion Project from Floral Park to Hicksville, the bridge will be widened to accommodate a third track on the Main Line. The Meadowbrook Parkway Bridge has been in service since 1956 and will maintain its current 13’ 2” clearance.
