Amenities at the Baldwin Station Building are expected to be completed the week of December 31st. A USB charging station is now available in the ticket office waiting room, and two new LED information screens have been placed on either side of the ticket window to provide schedules and updates to LIRR customers. There are two new USB charging stations in the platform waiting room, and bicycle racks have been installed in the plaza.
Remaining amenities include the installation of benches, salt boxes and trash receptacles. The platform will be sealed, new tactile strips will be installed, and the information totems at each entrance to the building will be unwrapped and operational.
